What does a CUPE Steward do?

If you are a new steward and want to learn how to help CUPE members solve workplace problems, you will learn:

• The role of a Steward
• Investigating workplace problems
• Filing a grievance
• Meeting with management

Please bring a copy of the Collective Agreement.

Please be advised there are no registration fees for these workshops.

All persons interested in attending this or other workshops must be approved by their local and be registered. All classes are from 9am to 4 pm on the first day, 9am to 12 pm on the second day. Registration will only be official if the member receives an email confirmation or phone call.
